Seeking a digital repository of our experiences, thoughts and dreams, we created this to:
- bridge our partitioned knowledge bases,
- grow our community of forward-thinking peers
- facilitate great conversations
Truth is:
We got sick with the del.icio.us method of posting our favourite links. As time passed, bad tagging habits piled up to create a highly messy and unsightly mess that no one wanted to sieve through all that cyber-junk to find the gems in the links. Also, innovation seems to have stalled at del.icio.us after the Yahoo buyout and it seems del.icio.us users are left in the lurch stuck with bad UI and under-developed features that fail to neither facilitate usage convenience nor community sharing. Maybe WordPress might work out better, we don’t know. Or maybe a group of pple trying to use WordPress and make it work like del.icio.us for sharing links and news might spur some creativity for us to startup. =)
